Westham Parish Council holds regular free events for children in the Parish aged 5 to 16 in the school holidays. In the past this has included dance sessions and mobile skate ramps.

The next event will be at Stones Cross School on Tuesday 22nd Feb from 10am to 12pm.

Please also bring any drinks your children might require.

Please do come, the event is held in conjunction with Wealden County Council.

The Clerk of the Parish Council visits each of the three schools in the community to tell the children about the work of the Parish Council. This provides an excellent opportunity for the children to tell her about any changes they would like to see in their area and how they feel things could be improved.

Ideas are then taken to the next Full Council Meeting and considered by Parish Councillors.

This work is ongoing and is now used as Case Study by Action in Rural Sussex.
